Two MINI CHALLENGES, which will replicate the Sanlam Investment Management South African Challenge, will be held in May 2010. The first of these will take place at Johannesburg Zoo on the 5th of May, and the second will take place a week later at Groot Constantia Estate in Cape Town on the 12th May.
These challenges are free of charge and are designed to introduce potential entrants to the Intelligent Sport concept. Over a period of 2 hours teams will be challenged;
- -PHYSICALLY as they navigate around the course
- -INTELLECTUALLY as they solve mensa type puzzles
- -STRATEGICALLY as they decide on the most effective plan of action
All this with the added pressure of competing against the clock and the rest of the field, testing communication under pressure, collaboration and time management – all important skills that are utilised in the SIM SA Challenge and every day in the workplace.
The only requirements from competing companies is that they bring running kit – shorts, t-shirts and running shoes. All the specialist equipment required during the course of the event will be provided. After the event there will be a cocktail party hosted by the respective venues where cocktails and drinks will be served.

Teams must arrive and register between 14h30 and 15h30 on the respective dates in order to register and prepare.
